Steroid Musculoskeletal/ Joint Injections

Our clinic specialises in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, which can cause pain and limit activities of daily living. We provide joint injection for a variety of conditions including carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, tennis/golfers elbow, wrist tendonitis, trigger finger, small joint arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and bursitis of the hip.

Joint pain is a very common condition and is usually the result of injury, arthritis or an inflammatory condition. At Swell Health Clinic we can offer steroid joint injections, which can effectively reduce inflammation and therefore reduce your pain allowing you to continue with your activities of daily living with minimal symptoms.

How it works

Patients will attend an initial consultation, during which we will take a full, medical history, do a full examination, we will also determine whether a joint injection is suitable and decide if an x-ray or other imaging is required first.
It is important to remember that steroid joint injections may not be suitable for all patients.

Our prices are for one injection in one single joint. It should be noted that a steroid injection will not cure your condition and may only provide temporary relief.
